Creating videos is hard as it is and not being a native English speaker definitely adds to the challenge...

Is your first language not English?
Are you rarely if ever speaking English?
Or maybe it's quite alright but recording and talking just adds the pressure?

I TOTALLY GET IT.

"Practice makes perfect" while absolutely valid suggestion might not help if you want to create a course but your own English makes you cringe too much...

What to do?!

👉 Well. Khm. How to say this... PRACTICE 🙈 I mean, there really is no better way to learn a language and improve it than speaking more and more. BUT...

👉 You can record practice videos for yourself. Nobody needs to see! Review and recognize your mistakes. It will be alright.

👉 People are not as sensitive to non-native content as one might think... Your audience will still understand you even if your English is not perfect.

👉 Consider creating (or starting with) a course in your own language first. Especially if the market is big enough. This would especially work for Spanish, French, German and similar.

Do the best you can with what you have.

👉 Room with no echo will do for a better sound;
👉 Recording in front of a window in the daylight can do the trick!
👉 Choosing SIMPLE but well-working systems will definitely be better than overcomplicated setups that you're spending half of your course creation time on...

When it comes to course creation, the main fear often is the OVERWHELM of the process. You already have a ton on your plate as it is... creating a course would probably take your last sanity, right?!

The truth is, your course DOES NOT need to be comprehensive and fully immersive for it to actually be EFFECTIVE.

Escaping the winter or moving for good, who knows. But it's warm and sunny outside so that will do 😍

It happens so often. You create a potentially won

It happens so often.

You create a potentially wonderful course. Do a launch. The launch goes alright but you kind of hoped it'd be better. And you get stuck.

Thinking that your course will be an instant success and create this endless stream of passive income is one of the main reasons people create them in the first place.

BUT.

Creating a successful course-based business is a WORK. IN. PROGRESS.

And it usually goes like this

1. After the initial launch you do a full reevaluation on how it all went. If the launch wasn't all that great, you have to understand whether it was the launch or your course offer that caused it (or the combo of both);

2. You work on improvements, based on your audience's reviews and your own evaluation;

3. You relaunch or prep to have it evergreen.

IF you go the evergreen route, you will, most likely, need to go through the trial and error of creating a successful evergreen funnel MORE. THAN. ONCE.
