Nothing like a great book to awaken your inspiration! Here’s a dose of inspirational books for women entrepreneurs.
I don’t know about you but for me the power of a good book is unmeasurable.
Learning from other experiences and stories not only bring me loads of inspiration but also proves to me that sometimes even the most impossible things CAN BE DONE.
I’m an absolute book junkie and read loads, from fantasy romance novels to business books and beyond.
Here I have gathered some of my favorite inspirational books for women entrepreneurs.
Inspirational books for women entrepreneurs
The books below are not shared as the overall best reads ever. In this case, I was more focused on the inspiration part and if the story itself gave me a bit of a kick to actually get up and start moving.
Got any inspirational books for women entrepreneurs you’d definitely add to the list? Let me know in the comments!
You Are a Badass at Making Money
Jen Sincero is honest, straightforward and writes in an easy-to-relate manner. I’ve re-read this book myself for several times, always learning something new.
The original – You are a Badass – was also a great read if you’re just in the beginning of your creative journey!
“You can have excuses or you can have success; you can’t have both.”
Everything is Figureoutable
Marie Forleo truly has proved that she knows what she’s talking about! And Everything is Figuroutable proves that she’s just like us. Like me, you, like anyone who wants to reach success but might not yet know how. A wonderful dose of inspiration and a perfect reminder that you CAN do anything!
“The most powerful words in the universe are the words you say to yourself.”
Better Than Before: Mastering the Habits of Our Everyday Lives
I have to make a wild guess that many – probably most – people have heard about a quite famous book called Atomic Habits. But here’s something you might not have thought about…
There are quite many other great books about building habits (mindblowing, I know!) and this is one of them.
“The biggest waste of time is to do well something that we need not do at all.”
Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle
This book works as a nice reminder about things we like to forget. Being a woman in the 21st century is a whole different experience. We always rush to do it ALL. This book serves as a nice guide on how to manage your stress levels even if you don’t really want to give up on being a superwoman.
“The moral of the story is: We thrive when we have a positive goal to move toward, not just a negative state we’re trying to move away from.”
Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup
This book is the definition of “fake it till you make it” in the worst-case scenario. What happens if you fake so hard that the whole world is looking at you and waiting for the impossible to happen?
The story behind this book truly proves that anyone could be anything. But execution matters!
“The way Theranos is operating is like trying to build a bus while you’re driving the bus. Someone is going to get killed.”
The Art of Thinking Clearly
Our minds are complex machines that work in mysterious ways. In this book, you will explore how to be more aware of what’s happening and take the hold of your mind!
“If 50 million people say something foolish, it is still foolish.”
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck
Yet another bible-like book that should be on our bookshelves at all times. It’s simple, it’s straightforward and sometimes a bit annoying in its vulgarity but I truly believe that the lessons taught within this book are very valuable for a better life!
“Being wrong opens us up to the possibility of change. Being wrong brings the opportunity for growth.”
