Increase your sales with diversified marketing strategies

The best way to truly show up for your audience, build trust and make more sales is to have more FUN with your marketing  and do it in the way that works FOR YOU. Let’s talk about some diversified marketing strategies to explore.

When it comes to digital marketing for your online product – whether it’s an online course, group coaching program, membership, or a full offer suite – it’s essential to think about how people make buying decisions.

Each customer has unique preferences for how they engage with and trust a product, which is why diversifying your marketing efforts is crucial.

There are countless strategies out there, from posting stories on Instagram to creating blog posts or email campaigns. While these approaches can feel overwhelming or misaligned with your natural strengths, it’s important to discover what works best for you and lean into it.

The problem with one-size-fits-all strategies

You’ve probably heard advice that makes certain marketing strategies sound like the ultimate solution.

The truth is, these strategies worked for someone else, but that doesn’t guarantee they’ll work for you.

Marketing isn’t about forcing yourself into someone else’s mold – it’s about finding what you can show up for consistently and enjoy doing.

If you’re struggling to feel aligned with a strategy or dreading the next step, it’s time to explore other options to make more sales Consistency and authenticity are far more important than following trends or chasing strategies that don’t feel right for you.

If you find yourself feeling stuck in your own ways, here will be a few ideas to explore.

Find what type of video content works for you

Video content IS important in making sales. Especially, if you’re building a brand based on your own personality.

It’s important to give your audience a chance to get to know you and video content can be one of the most efficient and reliable ways to do just that.

But it’s also important to recognize that there are plenty of different ways to embrace this.

One of the key platforms to consider video creation is Instagram. You can use it to connect with your existing audience via Stories and attract new people with Reels.

Especially Reels os a popular way to reach new audiences and the best news is that there really are PLENTY of different types of Reels you can explore and experiment with to find what works for you.

Focus on sharing valuable insights in a way that feels authentic to you –

  • A simple reel with text over a video of your coffee mug can be just as impactful as a highly edited production.
  • Do shorter “talking head” videos with the key punchline/advice, make them short and snappy,  or explore longer versions, discussing a specific topic at hand
  • If talking-head videos or extensive editing aren’t your thing, consider short, text-based reels with straightforward messaging. Experiment with different styles until you find what works.

And once you’ve found what works, you can use this video content in many different ways!

Repurpose your content

Content repurposing can save you hours of time and honestly, it’s the only way I’ve been able to stay present online for years.

Ideally, I’d suggest you to start with one bigger piece of content: may it be a podcast episode, blog post or email.

From there, you have unlimited opportunities to repurpose this into platform-specific content like Instagram posts, reels, stories, TikTok, FB, LinkedIn, Threads…

And if you’re ever feeling uninspired? Take an older piece of content and repurpose that!

For example:

  • Turn an old Instagram post into a series of stories.
  • Break down a blog post into bite-sized pieces for social media.
  • Use content from your email list as the foundation for new videos.

A repurposing strategy allows you to show up consistently without starting from scratch every time. Plus, most of your audience won’t remember seeing the content before.

Leverage the power of blogging

Blogging is far from outdated. It’s an excellent way to build authority and create evergreen content that works for you long after it’s published.

A major plus for blogging is the SEARCHABILITY. Both Google and ChatGPT (as well as other AI tools) use their search engines to find relevant keywords in your website, your posts, your offer landing pages to then show them to whoever is searching for the relevant info.

And this is where you have PLENTY of opportunities to emphasize that.

  • Use blogs to answer common questions in your niche.
  • Optimize posts with keywords to attract traffic through search engines.
  • Later, repurpose the blog content into captions, emails, or video scripts.

Keysearch is one of my favorite tools to use for exploring various topics and coming up with search engine optimized keyword ideas.

If writing comes naturally, this can be a cornerstone of your marketing strategy.

Your marketing, your rules

The key to effective marketing is tapping into what feels natural and exciting for you.

With diversified marketing strategies, whether it’s stories, videos, blogs, or emails, your energy and passion will always outshine cookie-cutter strategies. When you enjoy the process, your audience will notice – and that’s what builds trust.

Stop forcing yourself to follow someone else’s rules. Experiment, diversify and choose what aligns with your strengths. When you do, your marketing will no longer feel like a chore, and you’ll start seeing the results you’ve been hoping for.

There’s no single “right way” to market your product. Instead of chasing trends, focus on consistency and authenticity in your efforts. When you diversify your marketing with strategies you enjoy, you’ll naturally build trust and attract your ideal audience.
