As someone who has chronically been platform-hopping for the past decade, I can guarantee you: the platform you choose for your digital products DOES NOT make a difference 🤷‍♀️

Sure, there are pros and cons. Some will have more features and more customization options. Others will be way simpler.

If you're just getting started, it's worthwhile to consider which direction will make the most sense for you.

But if you've already chosen your platform and now you're feeling that inner craving to CHANGE because it will make all the difference - no.

Things I don’t do anymore as someone who started creating courses in 2015...

…I don’t actively launch products anymore, not on any consistent basis. There was around 5 year phase when I was launching consistently, always coming up with new ideas, never really easing into things. Now, I work on new ideas when they feel right.

…I don’t change platforms anymore. I used to change my product platform and backend setup every 6-12 months. Yes, I have tried and tested pretty much every platform out there. Now, I have settled realizing that change of the platform will not make the difference.

…I don’t promote courses as the single best way to go. I never truly have, although supporting others in their course creation journey was a big part of my initial online offering. Today I know better - there are plenty of ways to build a sustainable online business.

…I don’t rely on big industry names as my goalpost. Over years of seeing them move in their business I’ve learned that despite years of success and all the trial and error - they don’t always know best…

This is something that I have praised time and time again over years. You actually can sell ANYTHING, you can package up your products in many different ways, shapes and forms.

...as long as it makes sense for your audience.

So if your PDF in the making is actually something they're eager to get their hands on - yes, you absolutely can generate consistent passive income with ¨just¨ a PDF.
