What sets six-figure launches apart and how to get there

Launching a product or service is both exciting and nerve-wracking. While some launches generate $5K or less, others soar to six-figure successes. So, what makes six-figure launches different? Let’s do a deep-dive in some profitable launch insights.

After being part of many launches – from massive success stories to those that didn’t meet expectations – I’ve noticed key factors that set the smaller launches apart from the six-figure launches.

Listen to this in a podcast episode instead:

What makes a six-figure launch different?

Is the a bulletproof blueprint you could follow to have your own six-figure launch? Is there a specific path, do’s or don’ts that makes some product launches more successful than others?

Yes and no!

While there isn’t really just one must-do blueprint to follow, there definitely are quite a few different commonalities amongst more high-end launch numbers.

It’s NOT about what you post or at what time the post is published. It’s NOT about the exact channels you decide to use to promote your product.

Let’s explore some other things that truly make a difference!

What sets six-figure launches apart and how to get there

Be consistent with your online presence

One critical element of a successful launch is having a strong online presence.

This doesn’t mean you need to dominate every platform, you don’t need to have thousands of followers.

A successful launch CAN happen with a small number of people as well.

But…

Whether you’re on Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn or Facebook – the key is that your audience knows who you are and engages with you regularly.

Even if you’re an expert in your field, visibility matters. Without it, reaching six-figure launch success is unlikely. People need to trust and recognize you before they buy.

Remember that this is not about numbers but about building meaningful connections with the audience you already have.

Show up in advance of the launch

A mistake many entrepreneurs make is only showing up consistently only weeks before the launch.

They pour energy into posting, going live, and sharing content, yet the results often fall short. Why? Because their audience isn’t primed to buy.

In six-figure launches, the people behind them have been visible consistently.

They’ve built trust over time, so when it’s time to launch, their audience is ready and excited to buy. Consistency creates momentum – and that momentum translates into sales.

What does it mean for you?

At bare minimum, you should be consistent with showing up at least a month or two before the planned launch. Make sure your audience SEES you.

If you currently have 800 followers on Instagram but you post 1 story per week and rarely do any feed posts – that number won’t mean a thing.

But if you decide to do 2x Reels/per week, add daily Stories and interact with your audience along the way – a part of those 800 followers will see you on their feeds regularly.

Optimize the “Like, Know, Trust” factor

This also leads us to the simple fact that the foundation of any successful launch lies in the “Like, Know, Trust” factor.

People buy from you when they:

  • Like you.
  • Know what you stand for.
  • Trust you.

This trust isn’t built overnight. It’s developed through consistent, authentic engagement. But it doesn’t have to be perfect or polished. Showing up, even when things aren’t flawless, is more valuable than waiting for everything to be just right.

I’ve seen firsthand how consistency impacts launches.

When I made it a habit to engage authentically on Instagram and connect with my audience, my sales doubled – even with a small following.

It wasn’t about having massive numbers; it was about creating genuine trust and connection.

Use smaller launches as stepping stones

If you’re just starting out or your first launch isn’t a massive success, don’t be discouraged. Treat it as a learning experience.

Refine your strategy, analyze what worked, and keep showing up for your audience. The lessons you learn from smaller launches will build the foundation for bigger successes.

Remember, you don’t need to launch constantly. Success comes from consistently engaging with your audience, understanding what resonates, and staying visible between launches.

Consider your own behavior. Are you more likely to buy from someone who consistently shares valuable insights and engages with you, or from someone who appears out of nowhere with a product to sell? The answer is clear. Trust and connection drive sales.

If your goal is a six-figure launch, start building momentum today:
