1. I used to send cold emails to tonssss of absolutely random people. Was that a successful long-term strategy? No... Did it help me to make some extra sales? Yessss.

2. In the early days, I moved abroad to live the "digital nomad" lifestyle, making 200-300€/per month. Moving have always inspired me to keep going so it was absolutely worth it 🔥

3. I started out by taking on my fair shair of $5/hr projects while still learning the skills 🤷‍♀️

4. I have repositioned myself from zero more than once. Sometimes you just gotta pivot. The digital product direction I have now is the longest standing one!

5. I have also rebuilt my whole offer suite more than once... Recreating all my products and backend setups. Yes, it took A TON of time.

6. I have been in the hustle mode for most of the decade where work is my core identity. I appreciate way slower days now though...

Was it more complicated? Sure. But do I still miss

Was it more complicated? Sure. But do I still miss it? YES.

I have had my own self-hosted Wordpress website ever since I started working online and one of the main reasons why so was simple - there were not that many better options back then.

But now? There are just SO MANY different ways to create a website and many of them truly offer you a few click solutions rather than spending days trying to figure it all out.

So why do I still miss the days when self-hosted Wordpress was a go-to?

Several reasons... One of which: the absolute freedom and full ownership. You are not tied to one host, one space, their changing prices and surprise adjustments.

It's really the independence and unlimited opportunities to do SO MUCH.

To use AI for your own good.

Honestly though. Way too many creators are fighting the fight of disliking AI when in reality it can free up your time, create systems that work for you and clear up your mental space.

The good news: there are plenty of different ways how you can do that without compromising yourself or ending up on the AI twin side of Instagram...

Your starting point? Understand the gaps you could fill with AI tools. Is it the research? Organizing? Design? Marketing?

And then - find a tool that will make it happen for you and practice that. The learning curve may be steep and in some cases it really will take a moment to get to worthwhile results. But by the end of it, you'll be in a lot better position than when you started.

No, you don't need a new platform.

As someone who has chronically been platform-hopping for the past decade, I can guarantee you: the platform you choose for your digital products DOES NOT make a difference 🤷‍♀️

Sure, there are pros and cons. Some will have more features and more customization options. Others will be way simpler.

If you're just getting started, it's worthwhile to consider which direction will make the most sense for you.

But if you've already chosen your platform and now you're feeling that inner craving to CHANGE because it will make all the difference - no.
